Chief Technical Officer

This position leads a newly shaped Technical Function, setting GBN’s technical strategy, shaping how it drives national agendas (e.g. UK nuclear capability strategy) and significantly supporting the set-up of nuclear programmes, including supporting acquisition and preparation of sites, technology selection and feeding into capability to help set-up Development Companies. Ensuring nuclear safety is a key priority for the Corporate Services Director. The CTO acts as a key advisor on the Executive Team, contributes to the development of GBN corporate strategy and its role in advising the Government policy around nuclear development.
